What Happened in Hiroshima?

On August 6th, 1945, Enola Gay, a United States Air Force B-29 bomber, dropped "Little Boy", a nuclear bomb that claimed more than 100 000 lives (most were civilian) plus miles of developed land. Many more died of radiation in the years to come and even newborns bore the scar of the nuclear bomb. All sorts of health problems were common to babies born to mothers exposed to radiation. Not only were humans affected, miles of land became a nuclear wasteland for years to come.

It was just like the Halifax explosion, except the bomb claimed 50 times more lives on impact.
